It is a 90 day consignment, and we set the price (based on a percentage of the retail price and dependent upon the condition of the piece). You receive 50% of the sales price.

The asking price is reduced by 25% after sixty (60) days on any unsold item.

So that your items sell quickly, we only accept things in IMPECCABLE condition. Most items should be no more than three years old. The most important thing you can do to get the most money for your consignment is to make sure it is freshly LAUNDERED and IRONED. Items must be odor free (no smoky or musty smelling clothing is accepted). If there is a smoker or cat in the house or the clothing has been stored, all items must be laundered and ironed before consignment. All Clothing must be brought in ON HANGERS.

Customers only purchase items that are in good condition. Anything stained, wrinkled, or looks like it has been worn and not laundered are not accepted. Consignments are accepted anytime we are open. While an appointment is not necessary, we suggest you consign on Monday through Thursday since your wait time will usually be much longer on Friday and Saturday.

The consignor is responsible for picking up unsold items on the expiration date and is not reminded to pick up unsold merchandise. Items left beyond the expiration date are not returned. Consignors must call 48 hours in advance to pick up unsold merchandise to allow us time to locate your items.

WESTERN WEAR EXCHANGE assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to merchandise due to fire, theft, accident, or any other cause.

We pay in cash at any time, however, we do not disclose the amount owed, number of items sold, or number of items unsold over the phone.
