How To Consign

Ask yourself , “Do I want my items to sell?”  If you truly want your items to sell, please read and follow the guidelines below:

No appointment is necessary and we accept consignments anytime we are open.

First, check the “Best Sellers” and “No Thanks” Lists for the kinds of items that we handle versus those we do not accept at all. If some of your items are listed on the “No Thanks” list, consider making a charitable donation.

Prepare Your Consignment

Clean, well pressed, and fragrance free sells the best! The cleanliness and appearance of your items is crucial. All garments must be freshly dry-cleaned or laundered, fragrance free, ironed and on hangers.

We understand that dry cleaning is costly and ironing is something we all like to avoid. To avoid unnecessary expense and labor, we urge you to first check each garment in bright daylight for:

*Soil/stains, especially around collars, cuffs, or underarms
*Missing/loose buttons and broken zippers
*Torn/stained linings
*Faded or uneven colors

If you see ANYTHING that you are not willing to correct –STOP! Making a charitable donation of those garments might be appropriate.

We only accept items that are:

*Western (items originally purchased at a western store)
*CLEAN (must have been freshly laundered or dry cleaned)
*Wrinkle free.
*Free from animal hair
*Currently in style (purchased NEW less than two years ago)
*In like-new condition (no fading,  stains,  buttons missing, etc.)
*Odor free (smoke, cologne, musty storage smell)

Next, make sure:

*Each clothing item is hung neatly on a hanger
*Boots are freshly polished and the edges dressed
*Hats are clean and shaped

Most common reasons that items are not accepted:

*Too old or out of style
*Stains
*Excessive fading
*Not freshly laundered
*Not been ironed
*Odors (usually smoke)
*Not western brands
